In the year of the 60th anniversary of the first manned flight into space and the world triumph of Russian science and technology, the «Presnya» presents an exhibition of clothing, documentary and art collections of the State Central Museum of Contemporary History of Russia. The exhibition demonstrates the connection between a significant historical event - the orbital flight of Yuri Alekseevich Gagarin - and a real improvement in everyday life against the backdrop of general enthusiasm and enthusiasm.
The exhibition consists of four sections:
- The onset of the space age. Propaganda and patriotic poster on the theme "Soviet space";
- An event of a universal scale. Life before and after flight;
- The beginning of the space age in everyday life;
- "I want to be an astronaut." Education of a new generation of Soviet citizens.
